Creative labour: emancipation or honey-trap?

One of the sharpest debates at the moment concerns the status of creative workers. For some they are driving force of the new creative economy, and as co-creators, prosumers and netizens, they represent a force for liberation and change. For others there are downsides, as exploitation - often by creatives themselves - and insecurity are joined by the exploitation of social networks for business purposes. In this short presentation I hope to present some of these issues for discussion.
