Ellie Rennie works in the areas of media policy and community communication. She joined the ISR in 2006 as the full-time researcher on ‘Youthworx: Youth Media and Social Enterprise’. She is the author of Community Media: A Global Introduction (2006), and is involved in a number of community and academic associations, including the Community Communication section of the International Association of Media and Communication Research, OURMedia/Nuestros Medios and the Wesley College Institute for Innovation in Education.
