You are invited to attend the Creativity World Forum, the top meeting of leading creative regions in the world, which takes place from 30. November - 3. December 2009 for the first time in Germany.
During the "European Year of Creativity" under the slogan "Where Creativity Meets Technology" innovation concepts of regions and companies, as well as Cluster development and internationalization of creative industries are main topics.
THE CREATIVE EVENT
The Creativity World Forum 2009 offers speakers and panels on international top level, a top-class political and artistic framework programme and many opportunities for networking within a congress on the 1st and 2nd December. During both congress days all participants have the opportunity for networking and match-making at the cooperation platform b2fair.
Parallel to the Panels, an exhibition will be hold where the regions of “Districts of Creativity”, institutions of the creative industry, initiatives and regions form Baden-Württemberg as well as further international partner regions, companies, research and transfer institutions will present themselves and interactive presentations.
This can be used for networking, establishing business contacts, developing new ideas and projects and information about new locations and markets.
THE REGIONAL TOURS
To get an on-site idea of what creative industry, innovation ability and technological leader-ship means in practice, a “regional day” takes place at December 3.
Participants have the possibility to visit famous companies and institutions in the region of Stuttgart, the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region and the technology region of Karlsruhe, for example the research laboratories of the Fraunhofer Institute Stuttgart-Vaihingen, the tech-nology centre of Festo AG at Esslingen, the “Centre on Art and Media Technology” at Karlsruhe or the “Musicpark” at Mannheim.
