Would you like to increase your ability to create and produce interesting digital content? With free distribution networks like You Tube available, and multimedia content being the driving force behind successful personal and commercial websites, there are many ways to share your stories and messages on a global scale.
In the QUT Digital Storytelling Workshop, you will work with expert creative practitioners to create your own digital story. You will also have the opportunity to devise your own Digital Storytelling workshop and to develop the skills to facilitate co-creative media production for a wide and growing range of purposes. This can include community building, cultural engagement, brand identification, education and public communication.
Participants receive a certificate of completion. It is also possible to qualify for 12 credit points of advanced standing in a Creative Industries coursework postgraduate award.
This is a great opportunity to make new friends, work with experts and learn the skills required for making a creative digital story and for facilitating co-creative media practice.
This course runs for five full days from 23-27 November 2009 at QUT Creative Industries Kelvin Grove, Brisbane. You will also be required to attend a 2 hour introduction on the evening of 17 Nov 2009.
